Author Tia Georges, born in Santa Monica, California, is a poet whose work is deeply rooted in her Syrian heritage and personal journey as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. Her poetry reflects themes of resilience, growth, and the emotions that define human connections. Through her writing, she seeks to explore life’s complexities and offer readers a space for reflection and comfort.
Tia holds a bachelor’s degree in creative writing from California State University, San Bernandino, and an associate’s degree in creative writing from Chaffey Community College. Her academic background has helped her hone her craft, enabling her to use poetry as a tool self-expression and connection.
When not writing, Tia enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, staying active at the gym, and hitting the slopes for snowboarding during the winter months. She is an avid reader, often escaping into the worlds of fantasy and fiction to recharge and find inspiration.
